IMMERSE
Innovative Methodology for Language Learning for foreign students through 3D objects and Cultural aspects
IMMERSE is an Erasmus+ Project that aims to develop and implement a teaching innovation methodology for language learning, based on 3D objects and focused on the cultural aspects of different countries, to foster the cultural integration of foreign students.
The project addresses the challenges of integrating foreign students into university life by creating a more realistic and engaging learning experience. It leverages Virtual Reality (VR) technology and a repository of reusable learning materials to make language acquisition more immersive and culturally relevant.
Objectives
- University Network: Establishing a network to facilitate the implementation and dissemination of the teaching methodology.
- Learning Materials: Developing a repository of reusable 3D learning materials, tutorials, and didactic units.
- VR Platform: Creating a Virtual Reality (VR) platform and a 3D authoring tool for teachers to customize content.
- Cultural Integration: Promoting minority languages and measuring the impact of culture-focused training on student integration.
