CipherEngine’s goal is to increase students’ interest and engagement in STEM education, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity and cryptography. Through hands-on, interdisciplinary learning activities integrated into secondary school curricula, the project aims to equip students with essential digital competencies and soft skills. Additionally, the project seeks to raise awareness among students about online threats and empower them to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

INFALIA in CipherEngine

INFALIA leverages its extensive expertise in educational technology, cybersecurity, and e-learning to drive the development of digitally transformative content. INFALIA will be designing the structure and content for a series of short educational videos and an accompanying e-booklet. These materials will demystify key concepts by covering three fundamental topics: Understanding Cryptography, Introduction to Cybersecurity, and Cybersecurity and Ethical Considerations.

Complementing this, INFALIA is producing a collection of bite-sized videos that creatively introduce core cryptographic principles, serving as an engaging visual supplement to the written materials. Furthermore, in collaboration with other research partners, INFALIA will establish the methodological guidelines for the organization of the Cipher Fairs, ensuring these events effectively disseminate the project’s educational outcomes.
