Prevention of sexual violence and harassment in higher education

link chainThe PREVHED project aims to combat sexual harassment in European universities. The project promotes the exchange of good practices between universities, the promotion of innovative prevention strategies and the training of managers and teachers. Its objectives are to fight against sexual harassment in universities, to strengthen the skills of all professionals, to set up reporting and support mechanisms for victims.

The project shares best practices in sexual harassment prevention. It works on the development of effective prevention policies, adapted to the specificities of universities. The project provides training for university professionals. It organizes awareness campaigns and sets up reporting and support mechanisms for victims. It encourages the creation of a network of experts in sexual harassment prevention. The project aims to evaluate the impact of its activities to measure results.

Duration: 2023-10-01 to 2026-09-30

The PREVHED project aims to produce several outcomes and positive spin-offs, including: effective prevention policies, adapted to the specificities of universities, building training to build enhanced skills among university professionals. The project aims to raise students' awareness of respectful behavior and to prevent gender-based and sexual violence by identifying reporting and support mechanisms for victims. The project aims to create more inclusive and non-violent academic environments

INFALIA in PREV-HED

Creating a chatbot for identification and reporting of cases inside each institution. In particular: INFALIA will design a user-friendly web-based chatbot and implement the underlying tools. Also it will design, create and maintain the project's website and participating to the all tasks of WP1-WP5. Moreover it will host the transnational meeting 4 in Thessaloniki on June 2025
